Working together to combat cargo theft

Brussels, 03 May 2011 - Around 200,000 deliveries are affected by cargo theft on our roads every year, costing businesses billions of Euros in damage. At the same time, lorry drivers are put at risk, becoming victims of physical assault in one in five cases. Five firms and institutions are now combining their expertise to offer support to affected businesses and drivers along the supply chain.
