Teleroute Privacy Statement

This page explains the policy of Teleroute (hereafter referred to as "Teleroute", "we" or "our") for the protection of data that can be related to you, or that are confidential to your company. We undertake to protect your data in accordance with the legislation on the protection of personal data and the principles set out below. We also request our sub-contractors to respect our policy.

This policy applies to our websites (available at www.teleroute.com), but excludes third party sites and services that can be accessed via links on our websites. This Privacy Statement should be read together with our Terms of Use of our website.

Cookies

We use so-called "cookies" to track your repeated visits on our sites and to store your preferences, e.g. your language and login. While you can disable the use of cookies in your web browser, this may prevent you from making use of all of our products and services.

Browsing statistics

When you browse our website, we gather technical information transmitted to us by your browser, such as the type of browser you are using, your operating system and your IP address. This information cannot be linked directly to you, and is only gathered on an aggregate basis, in order to allow us to perform statistical measurements about our website. Contact information

When you contact us to obtain information regarding our company or our products and services, or to obtain support from us, you will need to communicate your contact details (such as your name, telephone, email address, etc.). This contact information will be used for the sole purpose of:

- sending you our newsletter if you indicated to be interested in it, or
- providing you with product related information such as test logins or freight offers if you have requested to receive so.

While we share your email address or contact information with the other entities in the Teleroute group, suppliers and sub contractors who are providing contractual services to Teleroute and its customers, we never share this information with third parties without your permission.

Direct marketing and Newsletters

If your personal information has been obtained by Teleroute in the context of the sale of its products or services, or if you have explicitly granted consent to this, Teleroute can send you information about its current and future products and services. You can, however, choose to no longer receive such information by writing an email privacy@teleroute.com.  
The newsletters you subscribed to always contain the possibility to unsubscribe in case you no longer wish to receive the newsletters. By unsubscribing from the newsletters, you may still be receiving messages relating to contractual and product related information unless you inform us by writing an email to the above mentioned email address.

Sharing with other Teleroute entities

We reserve the right to share your personal data with the entities in the Teleroute group and related suppliers and sub contractors of the Teleroute entities. Without your permission, we will not share your personal data with third parties.

Transfer outside the European Community

By using our website, products or services, you explicitly agree that Teleroute has the right to transfer your personal data outside the European Community in order to process the data in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

Access, correction and opposition

You have the right to access, correct or oppose the use of your personal data. Upon receiving your signed request, and subject to proof of identity, we will correct or remove your personal data from our databases. Please also note that you can access and correct most of your personal data through the various facilities offered on the website.

About this Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement came into effect on March 1st 2010. We have the right to modify the Privacy Statement if modifications in our policy, management, the law or the jurisdiction make this necessary.
